Set in late-1950s Paris, NOUVELLE VAGUE follows a young Jean-Luc Godard after his time writing for Cahiers du cinéma, as he decides that the boldest form of criticism is to make a film himself. “Guided by his belief that a great story needs only ‘a girl and a gun’, Godard sets out to make his debut feature, ‘Breathless’.
