The Jetty Memorial Theatre was built in 1927 by the returned servicemen’s league, and was leased as a cinema until the late 1970s.
In 2004 the building underwent a major restoration and renovation, which transformed the building into an intimate contemporary performance space with 250 seats.
2007 saw the very first season launch at the theatre, introducing the professional touring shows and enabling the Coffs Coast to join the national regional touring network. Since then the theatre
has gone from strength to strength and become one of the highlights of the region’s performing arts landscape.
In addition to the season of professional tours and local amateur shows, the Jetty Theatre has an innovative young actor training program, which endeavours to supplement the school curriculum by teaching current performance practice. Our foyer serves as a community gallery by exhibiting the work of our talented local artists.
In 2012 we hope to establish links with the wider community, and in particular our culturally and linguistically diverse residents, communicating local stories in an effort to create community cohesion. If you have a story to tell, we want your voice!

The Box Office is located in the foyer of the Theatre on the corner of Edinburgh and Harbour Drive, Coffs Harbour.

The Box Office is open Noon - 4pm Tuesday to Friday and one hour before scheduled performances for that performance ONLY.
Tickets may be purchased at the Box office, on-line or over the phone by calling 02 6652 8088. Payment may be made by cash, EFTPOS or Credit Card (Mastercard or Visa only). The Box Office will accept credit card payments over the phone where time permits, patrons may send a cheque, made payable to Coffs Harbour City Council. Once paid for, tickets may be collected from the Box Office during Box Office Hours.
